Earlier this month Status 218 launched a brand new website for local running club Tadcaster Harriers.
Formed in 1983, the club boasts a large membership, regular races and social meets, and was in need of a refresh to their existing site, which had served them for over a decade, built on a custom CMS.
We agreed that a new website built on Wordpress, with a crisp and clean design reflecting the club's branding and colour scheme, would allow them to more easily administer the content of the site day-to-day, and allow responsibility for that to be shared amongst multiple members of the committee.
All of the existing content of the site was seamlessly migrated over to the new Wordpress site, ensuring that all of the club's long history of races, events, results and charitable giving was maintained on the new site.
Speaking about the process, club Chair Mark Swinden said that "our existing site was well overdue an overhaul, and we're delighted with the crisp, clean, new site that Status 218 have delivered - the move was painless, and we're already receiving excellent feedback from visitors on the new design".
As part of our commitment to support local charities, sporting clubs and other not-for-profit organisations, the site was built, and continues to be hosted, at a considerably discounted rate.
